The highly rated Long Vien Golf Course, will become the first golf resort in Laos to boast 36 holes. The entire complex is set within a 1360-acre residential development. Eventually when the complex is complete the golf course will comprise of 4 loops of 9 which all wind their way back to the clubhouse giving the golfer a variety of choices. The first 18 holes opened in 2012 on what was originally a flat, swamp like area, but the total redevelopment and design of the golf course has created a rolling course with beautifully manicured fairways and greens. Club facilities are geared towards the highest standards in the industry and displays the passion and drive the owners have to make this a stand out venue in the future of golf. The clubhouse is stunning with local architectural features meeting seamlessly with the modern facilities. The staff are on hand to welcome you to the resort and the attention to customer satisfaction is at the forefront. You will be treated to a VIP experience when you walk through the door. The par 3 11th has an interesting feature as the flower beds in front of the green are shaped like the countries of Laos and Vietnam. But it has to be the 18th that takes the plaudits for the best hole. A three shot par five with water all don the right. The tee shot must find the narrow fairway, the second shot must carry the water and the bunker that jut in to play whilst the third must find the green. You will not be disappointed with a par on the closing hole. A great golf course and when the remaining 18 holes are completed this will be a premier golfing destination.
