Penang Golf Club

No.2, Jalan Bukit Jambul, Bayan Lepas ,, 11900 Penang, Malaysia

Overview

Penang Golf Club (formerly BUKIT JAMBUL CC) opened in 1984, the only 18 hole champion course in Penang Island. A prestigious course in which Malaysia Open (Pro Tournament) was held in 1992. We used Bermuda grass for fairware and Teff Eagle turf for green, extending the distance to 5,846 m (6,393 y), par 72, and opened in November 2012. The course is similar to the Japanese hill course, and it is rich in the height difference, but since the buggy (two-seater cart) gets on the fairway, you can enjoy playing comfortably. Each hall has a beautiful landscape and a challenging nature, especially from the tenth hole hopes for fair wear under the eyes, a distant view of the Penang Bridge beyond, the view is a magnificent view. The driving range of the hotel is 250 meters away. You can also receive professional lessons. After enjoying play, you can enjoy Japanese food, Chinese food, local meal etc on Sakurajima restaurant in the clubhouse. There is plenty of selection of sake, especially shochu from Kagoshima. Private rooms are also available for large and small competitions. The club is located in a very convenient location, 10 minutes from Penang airport and 20 minutes from Georgetown, and there are hotels nearby, you can enjoy shopping and sightseeing after enjoying play .
