Saujana Golf Country Club is another top-class golfing complex in Kuala Lumpur with two championship golf courses. The Palm Course was carved out of the rugged terrain of a former oil palm plantation and the Bunga Raya which is more open but with plenty of water.
The Bunga Raya Course at Saujana Golf Country Club is very picturesque with wonderful views over the course from the 1st and 10th tee boxes which also gives you a good view of the many elevation changes which lie ahead. The 9th is a good example as it drops down into the valley floor and then up the other side to the green and the par-3 13th which is uphill all the way to the green which makes club selection interesting.
The fairways at Saujana Golf Country Club are lined with the native plants and vegetation and sometimes the virgin jungle so you are advised to use your driver sparingly unless you want to go exploring in search of your ball! Not too much water around until you reach the par-5 18th which requires a drive to a narrow fairway and an approach over water to a protected green.
The Palm Course is characterised by dense patches of palms along the fairways and numerous bunkers. The terrain is quite rugged with water coming into play on at least seven of the holes.
