The Orchard is distinguished by two world class championship courses, The Arnold Palmer Course and the Gary Player Course.
Both have hosted international and national competitions, (1995 Johnnie Walker Classic, The 1996 World Golf Tour), and professional and amateur tournaments (The Philippine Amateur Matchplay Championships, Philippine Professional Tour events, etc).
The Club is noted for its untiring efforts to protect the environment and to promote junior golf.
It actively supports golf course maintenance programs, a national handicapping system, and preserving wildlife sanctuaries.
Two different but equally interesting golf courses make The Orchard one of the must-play premium golf complexes in the country.
The Palmer course is wide, long, and expansive. It gives golfers all the room in the
world to keep making mistakes but hopefully, maybe recover from them. And most of them keep coming back for more. The Palmer greens, with its subtle but bewildering contours, make scoring an honest achievement. Like its namesake, it dares plates to be bold, daring, and nerveless.
The Player course is narrower, shorter, and more strategic. It calls for more patience, more accuracy, but at the same time favoring the consistent and the skilled. The course is almost always bordered on both sides by the signature white picket fences of The Orchard, a constant reminder that Out of Bounds is just down the line with a mishit, lack of conviction, or lapse of concentration.
Whichever becomes your favorite, the club’s organized, efficient, and secure golf operations make it one of the country’s very respected and preferred golf venues alike.
